Height 6-9mm 前後 F++/+ 綺麗な標本です。
Remarks : 近海図の シャジクマツムシ:Indomitrella hirundo Gaskoin 1852 は、細長く螺層が膨らまないが、本種は、螺層がやや膨れ、ややずんぐりしていて、シャジクマツムシよりやや小さい。似た学名で、Columbella hirundo Gaskoin, 1852→Cotonopsis hirundo (Gaskoin, 1852)は、アメリカ大陸の別種の貝。Mitrella hirundo→Indomitrella hirundo Gaskoin 1852が太平洋のシャジクマツムシ? 中央太平洋域に分布します。
